Type A is looking for an SEO Account Director to build, plan, manage and deliver SEO strategy for our SEO clients. This role is exclusively client facing with you being the main point of contact for our clients. You will work with a team of technical SEO specialists, digital PR consultants and copywriters in order to deliver SEO results for our clients. As the role is a client services role you will not be producing traditional SEO deliverables, however you are required to have a deep understanding of SEO and search engines that will allow you to build SEO strategies that are unique to the client’s business needs.
Day to Day:
- Building reports to understand the clients' SEO performance
- Building presentations and providing your SEO analysis to the client
- Writing a client SEO strategy
- Presenting the team’s work on a client call
- Writing status updates for clients and responding to their queries via email
Month to Month:
- Working with specialists to plan new client deliverables that align with your strategy
- Building new deliverables to help service the client account
- Planning around your team's utilisation vs client demands
- Analysing performance, building a quarterly business review and presenting it to the client
- Taking part in new business pitches
Skills Required:
- Strong working knowledge of SEO best practice and search engine trends
- Highly proficient in building and analysing reports from GSC, GA, GTM and Looker Studio
- Personable and enjoy talking with clients
- Strategic thinker with experience building client strategy
- Highly organised with experience planning and managing work delivery
Travel to London: The ideal candidate will live in London and be able to commute in under an hour to attend monthly client meetings.
Experience: 8 or more years experience working in a digital agency in a client services role.
