We are looking for a keen Photo/Studio/Digital Assistant to join our busy and growing photographic studio. TY online is a creative content studio in South London, tackling everything from small ecom shoots to full blown fashion campaigns in both film and stills. We are looking to employ someone who is keen and ambitious to get a great start in this industry.
Responsibilities:
- Work daily with Capture One to help process imagery to match a client’s specifications and eventually work “on set” during a shoot to assist with editing.
- Know how all of the camera and lighting works within the studio to be on hand to help out if there are any problems.
- Work closely with the studio manager and stylist assistant to complete daily tasks to ensure the smooth operation of checking in stock to be shot.
- Liaise with clients on any outfitting issues on shoot days.
- Understand each different client’s style guides/bible and liaise with the stylist on any issues they don’t understand.
- Keep the camera and lighting equipment tidy and organised.
- Steam rails when needed for model or still life shoots.
- Sometimes work with the in-house still life photographer to pin clothes ready to shoot flat lays.
- Manage the diary for flat lays, prioritising more urgent products while keeping all deadlines met.
- Keep clear logs of numbers shot, flat lays, accessories, etc. for invoicing.
- Predict any problems you might see from the diary bookings and raise concerns early.
- Help keep the studio tidy and clean.
- Be punctual and enthusiastic to be part of the TY team.
Qualifications:
Ideally 6 months to 1 year’s experience in a similar business.
Salary:
A very competitive salary and other perks will be offered, also open to this role being a freelance role if preferred.
