Tyneside Home Improvements is one of the North East's leading home improvement specialists, delivering high-quality extensions, orangeries, conservatories, garage conversions, windows and doors across the region. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Building Operations Manager to lead our Building Division and oversee the successful delivery of domestic building and extension projects. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing building teams, labour resources and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the high standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage building and extension projects from commencement through to completion.
- Lead and support builders, labourers and apprentices.
- Coordinate building subcontractors and specialist trades.
- Monitor project progress, quality and programme performance.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections.
- Liaise with Building Control and other relevant authorities.
- Resolve technical and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and company standards.
- Support customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.
