Join us as Community Fundraising Lead at Tynedale Hospice at Home and help grow the community support that makes our work possible. You’ll build relationships with individuals, volunteers, community groups and local organisations, developing fundraising opportunities that raise vital income and awareness across the communities we serve.

This is a varied, hands‑on role for someone who enjoys bringing people together, developing ideas and turning opportunities into action. You’ll lead fundraising events and campaigns, support and inspire volunteers, and help us find new ways to grow our community fundraising programme.

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You love building relationships and connecting people with a cause that matters.
  • You’re confident engaging with a wide range of people, from volunteers and supporters to community groups and local organisations.
  • You’re creative and enjoy spotting opportunities and developing new fundraising ideas.
  • You’re organised, self‑motivated and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • You enjoy working independently but are also a collaborative team player.
  • You want your work to have a direct and meaningful impact on local people and their families.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Growing our community fundraising programme and identifying new opportunities to increase income and engagement.
  • Building strong relationships with supporters, volunteers, community groups and local organisations.
  • Supporting and developing our community fundraising volunteers.
  • Planning and delivering fundraising events, campaigns and initiatives.
  • Using our CRM and fundraising data to monitor income, activity and performance.
  • Raising the profile of Tynedale Hospice at Home and communicating the impact of community fundraising.
  • Contributing to our wider fundraising strategy and supporter experience.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships.
  • Experience of planning and delivering projects, activities or events.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage your own workload, meet deadlines and use your initiative.
  • Confidence using IT, data and systems to support your work.
  • A positive, creative approach and a genuine interest in making a difference.

Experience of fundraising, working with volunteers, delivering events, using a CRM or knowledge of the local community would be an advantage.

  • Make a real difference to local people and their families.
  • Build meaningful community relationships and help grow our fundraising programme.
  • Enjoy variety and responsibility, with the opportunity to develop your own ideas.
  • Join a friendly, collaborative team where your work directly contributes to the Hospice’s impact.
