Tyne Theatre Productions is looking for a Director for the amateur production of Annie, which will be performed at the Tyne Theatre & Opera House during the week of 14 February 2027. This production will include cast members from Tyne Youth Company.
Role Requirements:
- A passion for theatre
- Plenty of ideas, and a plan for putting them onto the stage
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- A consistently professional attitude
Period of Appointment: Sept 2026 – July 2027
Salary: This role is rewarded by an honorarium fee of £1000.00 at the end of the production period. Members of the Artistic Team also receive a free TTP membership for the 26-27 season.
Pencilled Dates:
- Monday 6 July: TTP Introduction Evening 6-9pm
- Saturday 18 July: TTP Auditions – 10am – 4pm
- Rehearsals begin Wednesday 2 September
- Sunday 14 February: Get In/Tech
- Monday 15 February: Tech/Run – 6-9pm
- Tuesday 16 February: Full Dress Rehearsal – 6-9pm
- Wednesday 17 February to Saturday 20 February – Performances (incl matinees on Thursday 18, and Saturday 20 Feb)
