Tyne Theatre Productions is looking for the following roles for their amateur production of Annie, which will be performed at the Tyne Theatre & Opera House during the week of 14 February 2027:
- Director
- Period of Appointment: Sept 2026 – July 2027
- Salary: Honorarium fee of £1000.00 at the end of the production period.
- Role Requirements:
- A passion for theatre
- Plenty of ideas, and a plan for putting them onto the stage
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- A consistently professional attitude
- Choreographer
- Period of Appointment: Sept 2026 – July 2027
- Salary: Honorarium fee of £1000.00 at the end of the production period.
- Role Requirements:
- A passion for theatre and dance
- Training in different dance styles
- Plenty of ideas, and a plan for putting them onto the stage
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- A consistently professional attitude
- Musical Director
- Period of Appointment: Sept 2026 – July 2027
- Salary: Honorarium fee of £1000.00 at the end of the production period.
- Role Requirements:
- A passion for musical theatre
- Strong vocal or keyboard skills with the ability to sight read/sing
- Some experience in teaching and rehearsing
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- A consistently professional attitude
Pencilled Dates:
- Monday 6 July: TTP Introduction Evening 6-9pm
- Saturday 18 July: TTP Auditions – 10am – 4pm
- Rehearsals begin Wednesday 2 September
- Sunday 14 February: Get In/Tech
- Monday 15 February: Tech/Run – 6-9pm
- Tuesday 16 February: Full Dress Rehearsal – 6-9pm
- Wednesday 17 February to Saturday 20 February – Performances (including matinees on Thursday 18, and Saturday 20 Feb)
