Responsibilities
- Develop and support up to 70 Y11 students for their GCSE exams.
- Deliver lessons in class sizes of no more than 14, covering five different groups within the Youth College cohort.
- Work closely with a dedicated Attendance Welfare Officer, Youth College Manager, and pastoral support network to provide holistic support to learners.
- Collaborate with the Youth College teaching team to design engaging, creative, and innovative lessons.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Youth College curriculum and teaching practice.
- Participate in college events, meetings, and training sessions as required.
Requirements
- Experience with GCSE, Functional Skills, and FE provision is advantageous.
- Passion for mathematics and a genuine desire to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the college's values of professionalism, commitment, excellence, and inclusion.
