Senior Supported Housing Officer – Newcastle

As a Senior Supported Housing Officer you will play a key role in assisting the Housing Manager to lead, organise and motivate a team of supported housing officers, as well as sometimes needing to deputise for the Housing Manager in their absence.
This is a demanding and challenging role that requires dedication, positivity, and leadership skills, as well as keen attention to detail and an understanding of the challenges faced by our residents.
In addition to your support of the Housing Manager, you will also be responsible for providing support to our residents in the absence of other Support Workers, when alternate half-backing arrangements cannot be made.
Our support never stops, and our clients don’t always keep to office hours. You will be expected to take part, with other managers, in a Manager-on-Call rota, providing advice and support to our 24-hour staff. You can expect to carry this duty out approximately 3-4 times per year, and will be given additional allowances to reflect this.
