South Tyneside College Youth College is seeking a Maths Lecturer for a permanent position, 37 hours per week. The salary scale is Spine Points 24 - 31, ranging from £31,283 to £39,279 per annum, with 864 teaching hours per annum.

The Role: Youth College offers an exciting and alternative curriculum for Y11 school-aged students (15-16) who access their curriculum at South Tyneside College. In this unique role, you will help develop and support up to 70 students in preparation for their GCSE exams. You will deliver lessons to class sizes of no more than 14 and teach only 5 different groups within the Youth College cohort. You will also have unique support from a dedicated Attendance Welfare Officer and Youth College Manager. The Youth College teaching team and pastoral support network operate as a small and close unit, offering pastoral support to the learners that we serve.
