We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our Marketing and Recruitment team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for students, parents, employers, visitors and colleagues.
As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will provide a professional, friendly and efficient service, helping prospective students navigate their journey from enquiry through to enrolment while ensuring the highest standards of customer care are maintained.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Recruitment, you will provide front-of-house reception services and administrative support, ensuring all enquiries are handled effectively and professionally.
Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as the first point of contact for students, parents, employers and visitors.

Providing excellent customer service in person, by telephone and via email.

Welcoming visitors and managing reception duties.

Supporting the admissions process from initial enquiry through to enrolment.

Advising prospective students on courses and application processes.

Maintaining accurate student and applicant records using college management information systems.

Supporting enrolment events, open days and induction activities.

Working closely with curriculum and support teams to ensure applicants receive a seamless experience.

You will have:
Essential Requirements

Experience of providing excellent customer service within a professional environment.

Strong administrative and organisational skills.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience working within an educational environment or a similar setting.

Experience of using databases or Management Information Systems (MIS).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.

A genuine commitment to providing outstanding service to customers.

GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards this.

A recognised qualification in Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (Level 2 or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards achieving one.
Desirable

Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality requirements.

Understanding of college admissions processes.

Flexibility to support evening and weekend events as required.
