We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Health and Social Care, with a healthcare specialism, to join our dedicated and supportive team. As a lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching, supporting learners to reach their full potential, and contributing to the continued success and growth of our Health and Social Care provision. What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications
- A relevant Health and Social Care or healthcare qualification at Level 4 or above.
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one.
- Assessor and/or Verifier qualifications, or a willingness to work towards achieving them.
- Experience
- Recent vocational or sector experience within a healthcare setting.
- Experience working in a healthcare or clinical role.
- Experience of teaching, training, coaching or supporting learners in an educational or professional environment.
- Evidence of continued professional development and maintaining current industry knowledge.
- Skills and Attributes
- Excellent subject knowledge within Health and Social Care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills.
- A flexible, positive and collaborative approach to work.
- A genuine commitment to supporting learners and promoting their success.
- An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
