Due to growing student numbers, we are expanding our team. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Installation professional to join us in delivering high-quality teaching, training and assessment across Levels 1-2. Whether you already have experience in lecturing or are looking for a career change or new challenge, we can support you to transition into teaching. Prior teaching experience is not essential.
About the Role
You will:
- Teach and assess learners in Electrical Installation (practical and theory)
- Deliver units such as AC theory, single/three-phase systems, and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Create engaging lesson plans, schemes of work and learning materials
- Support learners to ensure retention, progression and achievement
- Provide tutorial support and guidance on academic, personal and welfare matters
- Work collaboratively within course teams and contribute to curriculum development
- Participate in exams, marking, employer engagement and parent liaison
What You'll Need
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Electrical Installation (up to Level 3)
- Enthusiasm for teaching and supporting learners
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills
- Ability to work effectively, safely and professionally in workshop and classroom environments.
