Walker Riverside Academy is an exciting and thriving secondary school at the heart of its community in Walker, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Walker is an oversubscribed secondary school with 1100 students on roll and this number is predicted to increase over coming years.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and motivated practitioner who can deliver high quality learning across all areas of the mathematics curriculum.

You will support the planning and delivery of high quality intervention for targeted groups of students and monitor, assess and report on the performance of students within the intervention sessions.

You will be supportive of the school’s values and have the ability to encourage and motivate our students to be the best they can be.

We are committed to investing in our staff and you will receive a supportive induction programme and have access to high quality CPD.

Opportunities are also available for Trust wide working and career development opportunities.

You will also receive consistent support from a dedicated Headteacher, SLT, CEO, Trust Central Team, Local Governing Body and Trust Board.
