We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Manager to lead the team in all our private hire events bar at Tyne Bank Brewery. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll oversee all aspects of bar service, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with clients and staff in a friendly efficient manner
- Managing staff, including training and development of your team
- Driving revenue and profitability
- Liaising with wedding and events team on a daily/weekly basis to enhance client experience.
- Solving problems and handling complaints
- Maintain a strong control environment to prevent fraud, theft and legal non‑compliance.
- Oversee stock control, ordering to ensure sufficient supplies throughout the event.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar environment
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and hygiene.

- Able to work alone or within a team
- Person licence holder (preferred)
