The Business Development Representative role is key in enabling the Company to grow and develop. You will be joining a highly motivated team that is passionate about what they do in a Company that is going from strength to strength. This is an opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives and play a visible role in its success. This is an individual contributor role with a personal target based on sales closed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- The Business Development Representative role is responsible for achieving revenue goals in the small and medium-sized segment while driving revenue growth and market penetration for Tympa Health Technologies Limited.
- The role builds and maintains relationships with key decision-makers in the Pharmacy, Care Home, Optical and Audiology segments, whilst:
- responding to inbound sales enquiries and proactively prospecting outbound to generate and develop a strong pipeline;
- executing the sales strategy that aligns with Company goals and objectives;
- working closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to create demand and drive sales;
- progressing opportunities from opportunity identification to deal closure, navigating the organisation to bring the right resources to drive and close sales;
- collaborating with other departments within the Company, such as product development and customer success, to ensure customer satisfaction and ongoing success;
- providing regular updates and forecasts to the UK General Manager on sales performance;
- developing and maintaining a strong understanding of the ear and hearing healthcare industry, including emerging trends, competitors and regulations;
- performing other duties as assigned.
Your Profile
You are experienced in selling to SME customers in medical device or other healthcare sales with a proven demonstrable track record of success. You are a highly versatile, energetic individual who is detail and task orientated. You should have an entrepreneurial spirit, be practical with a positive can-do mentality. You will be able to personally develop, maintain and expand our market presence and be involved with exciting and impactful campaigns. You have:
- experience in b2b sales;
- experience in using sale methodologies such as BANT or MEDDIC;
- the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers;
- strong analytical and strategic thinking skills;
- familiarity with ear and hearing health technology and the healthcare industry;
- ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- willingness to travel 20% or more domestically in pursuit of opportunities;
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field or have the equivalent from professional experience.
Preferred experience and qualifications include:
- experience in healthcare technology sales;
- familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms;
- experience in SaaS sales.

Salary & Benefits
A competitive salary and benefits package include: 25 days holiday (increasing to 26 after two years).
