The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

In accordance with the Company policies and procedures to assist the Head Housekeeper/Deputy by taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring that the specified standard of performance is achieved, whilst achieving maximum guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness and order in all areas controlled by Housekeeping, ensuring that these areas are systematically cleaned and spring-cleaned to the stipulated standard.
  • To provide assistance and support to Room Attendants and Linen Porters.
  • To ensure that discipline and high morale is maintained, advising the Executive Head Housekeeper of any problems.
  • In conjunction with the Head Housekeeper to forward plan for the Department, identifying problems and recommending solutions.
  • To check areas continuously for maintenance problems liaising with all Housekeeping staff and report any concerns to the Maintenance Department through the Hotel's procedures.
  • Follow up on work carried out and report problems to the Head Housekeeper.
  • To carry out all duties in a safe manner, having regard to the health, safety and welfare of self, other members of staff, guests and other persons on Hotel premises.
  • To check daily the arrival lists, ensuring that any special requests, gifts, flowers, etc., are attended to. Inform the Linen Porters and Room Attendants accordingly and co-ordinate actions necessary to meet these requests.
