This is a new, exciting opportunity to complete a Chef apprenticeship in a 4 red star hospitality environment within our award winning kitchen team led by Executive Chef Mike Lloyd. You will play an important part in the kitchen, learning how to prepare a range of quality dishes from breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and banqueting and will include making suggestions on menus. You will work in the main and banqueting kitchens to gain experience and knowledge of a range of styles and services. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience whilst working towards your qualification in Professional Cookery attending one day a week at/with College.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing a range of quality dishes from breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and banqueting
- Contribute ideas and suggestions on menus
- Work in the main and banqueting kitchens to gain experience across a range of styles and services
- Attend College one day per week to work toward the Professional Cookery qualification
- Aim to develop a career in the hospitality industry (Chef Apprenticeship path)
