Overview
To assist the Head Housekeeper/Deputy by taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring that the specified standard of performance is achieved, whilst achieving maximum guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- To take over and be responsible for a designated area of rooms.
- Complete your work to the agreed standard of cleanliness, tidiness and layout
- Liaise with Linen Porters regarding any spring-cleaning, washing of net curtains, and special cleaning of carpets and follow up on special maintenance issues.
- Be constantly aware of guest needs and recognise the expectations of guests
- To check the arrival lists daily, ensuring that any special requests, gifts, flowers, etc., are attended to.
- To check the storage areas in the corridors to ensure correct stock of linen and that the areas are tidy at all times.
