The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is an integral part of the Growth Team and provides marketing and communications support to the business as a whole. This position is considered a key role and requires enthusiastic communication with clients, colleagues, and the leadership team. The position will be based in the London office but requires a commitment to regularly travel between the offices (Oxford and London) as required.

As a Marketing and Communications Coordinator for Introba you will have a passion for learning, a desire to promote the brand and develop your career in all areas of marketing and communications. You are central to developing, marketing and communicating creative content that reflects Introba’s position as an industry leader.

Responsibilities:
  • Creating, editing, and proofing high-quality content for use across external communications channels, ensuring that content is timely, clear and consistent, and reflects Introba’s tone of voice and house style.
  • In conjunction with the Marketing and Business Development Manager, create an annual communications strategy and provide an update to the management team quarterly on progress.
  • Working with technical leads, you will support in writing creative content for external audiences, such as thought leadership articles, reports, case studies, profiles, video scripts and social media posts, and delivering content-led campaigns.
  • Communicate any website updates to the global team keeping content relevant, accurate and up to date.
  • Partner with technical staff to create concepts for and develop marketing collateral.
  • Drive the central content hub, including case study updates included in bids, new thought leadership content or CV updates for proposal submissions, and working with the graphics teams to update regional brochures.
  • Work with the Digital Content team to manage and direct the creation of media content, including photography and video shoots and oversight of the editing process.
  • Measuring and reporting on content engagement for social media – analysing data, developing reports, and evaluating content plans.
  • Establishing and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Acting as an ambassador of the Introba brand – providing advice and support.
  • Keeping abreast of content trends and digital technologies.
  • Supporting the team to achieve the objectives in the marketing and communications strategy.
  • With oversight from the Marketing and Business Development Manager, manage press opportunities and liaise with Introba’s global communications manager for any high profile press releases.
  • Development of relationships with relevant industry networks.
  • Work with the technical leads and the Marketing and Business Development Manager to coordinate the production of bids and proposal documents.
Requirements, knowledge, and skills:
  • Degree standard of education or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; confident in social interaction with other professionals.
  • Can think creatively and strategically; proactive to drive brand messages.
  • Impeccable English and accurate grammar.
  • Project management skills and ability to set priorities that accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
  • High level of competence in Microsoft Office suite of software, particularly MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of CMS and CRM systems.
  • Experience of either Google Analytics reporting, Sprout, Hootsuite or Airtable (not all required).
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Website and social media-based experience preferred.
  • Photographic skills preferable.
  • Should be able to coordinate and implement the marketing programme, through both original contributions and refinement of existing activities.
  • Previous construction or engineering industry experience (or equivalent) is helpful, but not essential.
