Automation Engineer (Gates & Barriers) Bristol/South West The Role We are looking for a motivated and proactive Automation Engineer, this role involves carrying out maintenance, breakdown response, fault finding, repairs and remedial works on a range of automated systems including gates, barriers, doors and shutters across a nationwide customer base. Key Responsibilities · Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits. · Breakdown attendance and fault diagnosis. · Repair and remedial works on automated systems. · Electrical and mechanical fault finding. · Ensuring systems operate safely and remain compliant with current standards. · Accurate completion of service records and reports. · Maintaining strong customer relationships and providing excellent service. Essential Requirements: Automation Engineer (Gates & Barriers) · Experience working with automated gates, barriers, doors, shutters or similar automation systems. · Strong electrical competency and fault-finding ability. · Good understanding of relevant safety standards and industry best practices. · Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. · Full UK driving licence. · Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
