The roleWorking in the Landscape Planning sector, every day will be different.
You\’ll be accountable for overseeing the delivery of quality reporting and have plenty of contact with our clients – ensuring that projects are delivered on budget, on time and to a high standard.
You will be responsible for shaping development proposals, with landscape planning at the forefront of our client\’s plans. From project inception and bidding stages, right through to preparing documents to accompany planning applications. This will include: initial feasibility/opportunities and constraints analysis; LVA; LVIA\’s; EIA\’s and strategic landscape proposals.
You will juggle a combination of juicy urban and rural projects you can sink your teeth into
You willcollaborate with our in-house ecology, GBI and arboriculture teams
You willbuild relationships both with clients and stakeholders alike. No day will be the same and we certainly offer variety
In addition, you will be given the opportunity to specialise outside of project delivery, in helping shape Tyler Grange for the better
What we\’re looking for:
Academic qualifications in a relevant subject
Minimum of six years\’ experience and Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) preferred
Excellent verbal communication and written skills
First rate project management skills
Proficient in carrying out LVIAs and LVAs, including input into landscape design / mitigation strategies
Proficient in EIA
A good understanding of legislative and planning policy framework
Proficient in providing due diligence advice to clients in respect to landscape character and visual matters
Experience of managing projects on time and to budget, including a lead role within multi-disciplinary teams
Experience liaising with clients, statutory bodies and LPAs
Track record of business development and winning own work
Full UK driving licence to enable site work
The icing on the cake for us would be:
Involvement or some experience of providing expert witness services would be an advantage
Desire to mentor team members
