Shift Patterns: Mon - Fri

Pay Rates:

  • Enhanced overtime rates for working over 50 hours and at weekends
  • £5 extra per shift for operating a flatbed trailer
  • £30 per night out (for tramping shifts)

We specialise in the storage and transportation of CHEP and LPR pallets, alongside some general haulage. As a FORS Bronze-accredited haulier, we take pride in our professional, highly experienced in-house training team that’s committed to helping you grow and achieve excellence in your HGV career.

The Role: We are looking for reliable and experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our dynamic team. This role involves transporting empty pallets across the UK. Depending on your experience and qualifications, there are opportunities to work with a variety of vehicles, including flatbed trailers, curtain siders, wagon and drag unit trailer combinations, and longer semi-trailers (LST).

Newly Qualified Drivers Welcome: We are happy to consider newly qualified drivers! Extensive training will be provided for the right candidate to help you gain the skills and confidence needed for a successful career with TDS. Please note that due to insurance purposes, the minimum age for this position is 18.

Our Fleet: At TDS, we operate a modern and well-maintained fleet, primarily consisting of MAN trucks, with Volvos and Renaults also in the mix. As part of our sustainability journey, 95% of our fleet operates on HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), reducing our carbon footprint in line with our commitment to a greener future. All of our trucks are Euro 6, ensuring high environmental standards while providing a comfortable and efficient driving experience.

Working Hours: Finish times vary due to the nature of the role, but we adhere strictly to the Working Time Directive and driver’s hours regulations.
