The Tyk API Management platform is a B2B solution that helps organisations connect any number of systems and services—internal, external, public, or highly encrypted—across industries such as retail, finance, telecoms, healthcare, and media. Founded in 2015, Tyk has offices in London (UK), London (Ontario), Atlanta, and Singapore, and serves thousands of users worldwide including Lotte, Bell, T Mobile, RBS, Capital One, and Vinci.
As an Account Manager, you will own and develop long‑term relationships with our customers. Tyk’s platform is used by engineering teams to build, secure, and operate APIs that power modern digital services, increasingly serving as the connective layer for AI‑powered systems. Your primary responsibility is to act as the commercial owner of a portfolio of accounts, maintaining strong partnerships and ensuring customers continue to realise value from the platform over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Own commercial relationships with a portfolio of enterprise customers.
- Drive renewals and account growth, and identify upsell or cross‑sell opportunities.
- Understand customers’ complex technical environments and build trusted relationships across engineering, platform, and leadership teams.
- Act as the point of contact for commercial conversations and navigate complex customer environments.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and technical teams to provide customers with the support and clarity they need.
- Maintain ownership of the overall commercial relationship and reporting of account performance.
