The role: We’re looking for an experienced Internal Recruiter to join Tyk on a 12-month fixed-term mat cover contract, starting in May 2026. This is a critical role within our People team, responsible for delivering high-quality, end-to-end recruitment across a global, fully remote business.

You’ll take ownership of multiple vacancies across different regions, working closely with hiring managers to design effective hiring processes, source top talent, and ensure every candidate has a consistently high-quality experience.

Here’s what you’ll be getting up to:

  • Owning end-to-end recruitment for multiple global vacancies across different functions
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for Tyk, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience at every stage
  • Partnering closely with hiring managers to scope roles, define hiring plans, and set realistic timelines
  • Writing and refining job descriptions and adverts where needed
  • Designing, setting up, and managing structured interview processes
  • Proactively sourcing candidates using a variety of channels (job boards, social media, direct sourcing, and internal talent pools)
  • Screening and interviewing candidates, and managing the process through to offer stage as well as setting up contracts
  • Providing timely and constructive feedback to all candidates
  • Managing and maintaining accurate data within our ATS and recruitment reporting
  • Identifying challenging roles early and working with hiring managers to adjust strategies
  • Building and maintaining talent pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill roles
  • Planning and forecasting hiring timelines in partnership with stakeholders
  • Managing and negotiating offer processes and associated administration, ensuring stakeholder communications throughout
  • Completing pre-employment checks, including references and right-to-work verification
  • Supporting onboarding by coordinating with hiring managers and setting up new starters
  • Checking in with new hires to support a smooth onboarding experience
  • Regularly updating the Senior People Advisor on hiring progress, challenges, and blockers
  • Supporting the Senior People Advisor with any ad hoc admin work
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to improve how we attract and hire talent

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience recruiting within a tech environment
  • Experience managing multiple roles across different regions (international hiring experience is essential)
  • Strong sourcing capability, with demonstrated success in proactively identifying and engaging talent
  • Experience working with an ATS and maintaining accurate recruitment data
  • A strong understanding of where and how to find high-quality candidates across different markets
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a remote, global environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence hiring managers
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and high attention to detail
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a continuous improvement approach
  • A genuine interest in people and delivering a great candidate experience
