The role:
As an Account Manager at Tyk, you own and develop long-term relationships with our customers. Tyk provides a technical platform used by engineering teams to build, secure, and operate APIs that power modern digital services. In this role, you are the commercial owner of a portfolio of accounts, responsible for maintaining strong partnerships and ensuring customers continue to realise value from the platform over time.
Success in this role comes from understanding complex technical environments, building trusted relationships, and connecting customers with the right expertise within Tyk.
Requirements
- Experience owning customer relationships in a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environment
- A track record of managing commercial customer relationships, including renewals and account growth
- Experience working with technical products or engineering-led organisations
- Ability to build relationships across both technical and business stakeholders
- Confidence leading commercial conversations and navigating complex customer environments
- Strong organisation, communication, and follow-through
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful customer outcomes
