User Researcher – £525 P/D Inside IR35 – Fully remote – Active SC required – 3 monthly rolling
We\\\’re looking for an experienced User Researcher to join our clients team and help shape meaningful, user‑centred services across the public sector. In this role, you\\\’ll plan and conduct high‑quality user research that drives decision‑making and improves digital services for citizens. You\\\’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring insights are translated into clear, actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Lead user research activities across the full project lifecycle
- Conduct interviews, usability testing, surveys, workshops and contextual research
- Analyse findings and communicate insights in a clear, compelling way
- Champion user needs and support the design of accessible, inclusive services
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, developers and stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of research practices and standards
About You / Qualifications
- Proven experience as a User Researcher within the UK public sector
- Strong understanding of GDS principles, service standards and accessibility requirements
- Skilled in qualitative and quantitative methods
- Confident engaging with a diverse range of users and stakeholders
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary delivery team
