Environment Engineer

Location: Telford (2 days per week on-site)
Contract: Inside IR35
Security Clearance: SC preferred or eligible

Key Responsibilities

• Apply SQLschemas and packages across multiple environments, including:
  • 30 CESA VME STU
  • 40 CRS
  • 20 SLP WebLogic environments
• Manage and deploy SQL schemas, with a strong focus on VME schemas.
• Create and manage handovers for VME, WebLogic, and HostTalk environments.
• Perform upgrades and maintenance for development and test environments.
• Rebuild WebLogic domains and update properties files as required.
• Deploy HostTalk MSI handovers and manage version control across projects.
• Conduct housekeeping tasks for Unix/WebLogic environments

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in applying and managing SQL schemas.
• Strong knowledge of VME, WebLogic, Tuxedo, Windows, and SQL databases.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in VME, WebLogic, and HostTalk environments.
• Experience in deploying handovers and performing environment upgrades.
• Skilled in rebuilding WebLogic domains and managing configuration files.
• Excellent organizational skills for version management of HostTalk and GovRules.
• Familiarity with Unix/WebLogic housekeeping tasks.
