Overview
Lead Technical Architect. SC Cleared. 6 week initial discovery (could be longer if successful). Outside IR35. Immediate start. The project is focused on modernising a legacy enterprise integration platform. We need an experienced Architect who can investigate and validate migration/modernisation options to move an existing Oracle WebLogic Java Integration architecture, running on Oracle RAC, to a modern AWS-hosted solution.
Responsibilities
- Lead Technical Architect for the migration/modernisation initiative.
- Investigate and validate migration options to move Oracle WebLogic Java Integration architecture on Oracle RAC to an AWS-hosted solution.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Lead Technical Architect, ideally in Central government.
- Strong background in integration architecture and platforms.
- Hands-on experience designing integration solutions in cloud environments ideally in AWS.
- Experience delivering PoCs, technical investigations, or discovery phases.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, resilience, and modernisation strategies.
- Cost & Risk analysis using trade off matrices to get justified decisions made.
