Job Title: Solutions Architect Role Type: Contract Length: 6 months initial Location: Manchester Our client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to support a portfolio of research-focused technology initiatives. This role will assess business and technical requirements, produce high- and low-level solution designs, and ensure proposed solutions align with architecture standards, assurance requirements and the wider Research Administration domain roadmap. Key Responsibilities Assess functional and non-functional requirements. Create high-level solution designs, including data flows and integrations. Develop low-level designs to support delivery teams. Work with the Technical Design Authority to meet assurance and compliance requirements. Support the Enterprise Architect in developing the Research Administration domain blueprint. Advise the Research Enablement Portfolio team on appropriate solution options.Key Skills Relevant qualification and proven delivery experience as a Solutions Architect. Ability to work flexibly and adapt quickly in a changing environment. Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
