We are currently working with a large-scale organisation in the financial service space, who require a Service Design Consultant to join their team to support on Service Models, Service Design, Service Transition & Service Catalogue requirements.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex delivery arrangements into clear, understandable service catalogue descriptions, offerings and narratives
- Identify roles, responsibilities, and key hand‑offs across teams and suppliers
- Define service inputs, outputs, and critical control points
- Work with stakeholders to validate process flows and operating assumptions
- Document the end‑to‑end service model, clearly defining scope, boundaries, and service components
- Surface dependencies, assumptions, risks, and constraints within the service design
- Produce transition‑ready documentation suitable for operational handover
- Support service transition planning by ensuring clarity, completeness, and usability of artefacts
- Capture current‑state and where needed future‑state operating models at a high level
- Map key business, operational, and support processes using simple, consistent flow diagrams
