Senior Java Developer (AWS) 6 months Remote working (Candidates must be UK based with full right to work) £420.00 PD - Inside IR35 Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with some proven lead experience, to join a major Government programme delivering secure, cloud-native digital services. The successful candidate will have extensive experience building scalable Java applications within AWS environments and will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing microservices-based solutions. Essential Skills & Experience Strong commercial Java development experience Experience delivering solutions within AWS cloud environments Proven experience building and supporting microservices architectures Strong understanding of secure software development practices Experience developing RESTful APIs and integration services Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience working within Agile delivery teams Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills Previous experience delivering projects within Government or Public Sector organisationsKnowledge of AWS services such as: ECS/EKS Lambda API Gateway S3 RDS CloudWatch IAM Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation Exposure to automated testing frameworks such as Selenium or Cucumber, working alongside QA teams.
