SC Clearance Eligible. TXP is expanding its front‑end engineering capability and is looking for an experienced Senior Front End Developer to join our growing delivery teams. This is an opportunity to work on complex, modern applications at scale, using contemporary front‑end technologies within a collaborative, Agile environment. You’ll play a key role in building high‑quality, performant and accessible user interfaces while helping to maintain strong engineering standards across the team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain front‑end applications using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Work across the full SDLC: design, coding, testing, defect resolution and deployment.
- Ensure work meets agreed quality, functionality and delivery timelines.
- Participate fully in Agile, sprint‑based delivery, including planning, stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
- Build user interfaces that consume and integrate REST APIs.
- Apply best practice around code quality, performance, accessibility and progressive enhancement.
- Support and mentor junior developers and contractors where appropriate.
- Collaborate with back‑end engineers and QA to deliver well‑rounded solutions.
- Contribute to shared standards, patterns and continuous improvement across the team.
Qualifications
- Strong commercial experience with React.
- Experience with modern JS frameworks including Remix and React Router.
- In‑depth knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of server‑side rendering (SSR) and progressive enhancement.
- Experience using the MUI React component library.
- Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end testing, ideally using Playwright.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.
- A good understanding of software design, implementation and deployment principles.
Desirable Skills
- Accessibility and performance standards.
- Cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
- CI/CD pipelines.
- Technical architecture concepts.
- AI / LLM tooling.
