Our client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to support a portfolio of research-focused technology initiatives.
This role will assess business and technical requirements, produce high- and low-level solution designs, and ensure proposed solutions align with architecture standards, assurance requirements and the wider Research Administration domain roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create high-level solution designs, including data flows and integrations.
- Develop low-level designs to support delivery teams.
- Work with the Technical Design Authority to meet assurance and compliance requirements.
- Support the Enterprise Architect in developing the Research Administration domain blueprint.
- Advise the Research Enablement Portfolio team on appropriate solution options.
- Key Skills
- Relevant qualification and proven delivery experience as a Solutions Architect.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt quickly in a changing environment.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in higher education or a research-intensive environment is desirable.
