What You Will Do:

  • Fix issues thoroughly within agreed response times.
  • Flag problems that cannot be repaired and suggest solutions.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance on time and fill in accurate reports.
  • Keep your compliance and technical logs updated.
  • Take your turn on the on-call rota - and let your manager know if you need cover.

What You Will Need:

Must-Have Skills:

  • NVQ or City & Guilds in Refrigeration
  • C&G 2079 (or similar CITB certificate)
  • Experience with refrigeration, electrical systems, air conditioning, and mechanics

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Great to Have):

  • BS7671 (16th or 17th Edition)
  • Supermarket/commercial experience
  • Machine overhaul knowledge
  • Hydrocarbon and CO2 refrigerant training
