Summary: Our client is seeking a hands-on, UK based Network Engineer to support the delivery of core Cisco switching, wireless, SD‑WAN as part of a structured multi-site rollout programme. This role is delivery-focused and suited to an Engineer who is comfortable operating in a manual UI/CLI environment, executing repeatable builds across multiple customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on delivery of Cisco switching and wireless implementations
  • Deployment and configuration of Cisco solutions, including SD‑WAN
  • Delivery of repeatable multi-site rollouts, adhering to agreed build standards and runbooks
  • Manual configuration using UI and CLI, rather than fully automated tooling
  • Support cutovers, testing, validation, and site handover activities
  • Troubleshoot Layer 2 / Layer 3 network and wireless issues during deployment
  • Maintain accurate documentation including as built configs and deployment notes
  • Coordinate with internal delivery teams and customer stakeholders to ensure smooth rollouts

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven hands-on experience with core network technologies including Cisco and Fortinet
  • Must have experience of LogicMonitor to support new client onboarding
  • Practical experience deploying wireless solutions
  • Active delivery experience with Cisco technologies, ideally including SD‑WAN
  • Experience delivering multi-site rollout programmes with repeatable designs
  • Confident troubleshooting LAN, WLAN and WAN environment
