The Opportunity: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating, developing and closing new business opportunities for TXP Project Services. This is a new business focused role, suited to a commercially strong hunter who can identify target accounts, open partner channels, shape opportunities and convert them into profitable projects and managed service revenue. The successful candidate will position TXP as a trusted deployment partner for technology vendors, OEMs, system integrators, managed service providers, connectivity providers and end clients that require scalable field delivery, logistics and programme control across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and win new business across the IT channel, MSP, system integrator and enterprise markets.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive business development, networking and partner engagement.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Build strategic partnerships and create repeatable routes to market for Project Services solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop compelling, commercially viable solutions and proposals.
- Position TXP's capabilities across deployment, field engineering, logistics, maintenance and managed services.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, CRM and forecast reporting.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in new business sales within IT services, managed services, project services or technology solutions.
- Experience winning new customers, building pipeline and managing opportunities through the full sales lifecycle.
- Strong background in selling complex B2B services, including solution development, stakeholder management and commercial negotiation.
- Understanding of deployment, maintenance, support and managed service delivery models.
- Experience selling into the IT channel, including MSPs, VARs, OEMs, system integrators or enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of endpoint technology, networking, SD-WAN, Cisco, Meraki, workplace technology or large-scale deployment programmes.
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
