Overview

We're working with a leading organisation within the financial services / insurance sector who are seeking an experienced Solution Data Architect to support a large-scale data transformation programme. This role will play a key part in shaping enterprise-wide data architecture, driving consistency across systems, and enabling scalable, governed data flows across core platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and design end-to-end data flows across multiple systems
  • Develop and maintain canonical and system-level data models
  • Design integration mappings aligned to enterprise data architecture standards
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineering teams, and Data Governance functions
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across business-critical domains
  • Support delivery teams with best practice data architecture guidance
  • Contribute to data ownership, standards, and lifecycle management

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Solution Data Architect
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Data modelling
    • Integration patterns
    • Enterprise data architecture design
  • Confluent Flink experience (highly desirable)
  • Experience with event-driven architectures / data streaming
  • Exposure to tools such as Erwin, Power Apps, or Dataverse (desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Background in insurance or financial services preferred
