Overview
We're working with a leading organisation within the financial services / insurance sector who are seeking an experienced Solution Data Architect to support a large-scale data transformation programme. This role will play a key part in shaping enterprise-wide data architecture, driving consistency across systems, and enabling scalable, governed data flows across core platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and design end-to-end data flows across multiple systems
- Develop and maintain canonical and system-level data models
- Design integration mappings aligned to enterprise data architecture standards
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineering teams, and Data Governance functions
- Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across business-critical domains
- Support delivery teams with best practice data architecture guidance
- Contribute to data ownership, standards, and lifecycle management
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Solution Data Architect
- Strong knowledge of:
- Data modelling
- Integration patterns
- Enterprise data architecture design
- Confluent Flink experience (highly desirable)
- Experience with event-driven architectures / data streaming
- Exposure to tools such as Erwin, Power Apps, or Dataverse (desirable)
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Background in insurance or financial services preferred
