Inside IR35, 550 - 650 P/D, 9 months, scope to extend. Hybrid, 1-2 days on site per week (Manchester preferred, London considered). BPSS + SC eligibility.

We are looking for an Insight Planner to join a new multidisciplinary team driving insight-led decision-making in a large, complex organisation. As the sole Insight Planner, you will shape how insight is used - turning data into clear narratives that influence strategy, product direction, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Synthesize qualitative, quantitative, and behavioural data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Create compelling presentations and strategic recommendations.
  • Identify patterns and opportunities across multiple data sources.
  • Collaborate with research, product, design, and delivery teams.
  • Support user-centred approaches and strategic decision-making.
  • Help define and build the Insight Planning capability.
About You:
  • Strong experience translating complex data into insightful narratives.
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in complex organisations.
  • Self-starter who can shape ways of working.
Background:
  • Likely from roles such as Insight Planner, User Research, Customer Insight, or Product Insight.
Nice to Have:
  • Product/digital experience.
  • Public sector exposure.
