INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER 12 Month FTC Remote with occasional travel to Warwickshire 60K Per Annum Experience Required Strong hands-on experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server. Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server installation, configuration and troubleshooting across different versions. Experience of SQL Server migrations, upgrades and moving applications or workloads between environments. Practical experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups. Good working knowledge of VMware virtualisation. Solid infrastructure knowledge covering Active Directory, DNS and DHCP. Experience producing clear technical documentation, standards, build guides, policies or guardrails. Ability to take technical ownership, lead investigations and work effectively with internal teams and third-party partners. Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to propose ideas and lead technical discussions. Desirable Experience Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Azure SQL services and hybrid-cloud migration activity. Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID. Basic familiarity with PostgreSQL. Deep PostgreSQL administration is not required, but you should be comfortable researching, installing and configuring it to recognised best practice when needed
