Job Description
Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer (Contract)Location: Hybrid (with occasional travel to Manchester or London for key meetings)Duration: 3-6 Months initial
Overview:Our client is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise environment within Central Government. This is a hybrid role, with occasional travel required for key meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions in cloud-native environments.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers and stakeholders to deliver robust infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure performance monitoring and governance across large-scale systems.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance using GitLab.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience working within Central Government environments.
- Background in managing infrastructure for large enterprise estates.
