IBM zDevOps SME/Solution Architect - GitLab, IBM DDB UCD Toolchain Setup
Duration: 2 - 3 months
Hours: Full or part time hours can be considered (2/3 days per week)
Location: Can be fully home based. Remote delivery - No geographical restrictions
Rate: Negotiable/Market Day Rate (Inside IR35)
Our leading consultancy client is setting up a GitLab-based DevOps toolchain (with IBM DBB + UCD) across 4 different Business Units (countries) - each with its own Mainframe environment. To provide detailed setup inputs (precise software, network, etc. details). The successful candidate will be an experienced zDevOps Specialist, with hands-on experience setting up GitLab-based Mainframe toolchains.
Program: Programme GitLab-based IBM Z DevOps toolchain setup across four countries using IBM DDB and IBM UrbanCode Deploy.
Engagement focus: Hands-on toolchain setup leadership, infrastructure input definition, environment design and delivery coordination.
Below are the tasks that need to be delivered:
- Understand current environment topology across all BUs (CH, DE, UK, ZNA)
- Review and validate the target GitLab + DBB + UCD architecture
- Define detailed setup inputs for each BU
