Overview
Our client are looking for an experienced Manual Tester / Salesforce Tester to support a key programme of work on an initial 3-month contract basis. We are particularly interested in candidates with Salesforce testing experience; however, applicants with strong manual testing expertise and API testing experience will also be considered. This role will involve working closely with technical and business teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of business-critical applications and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end manual testing across business-critical applications.
- Design, create, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and manage defects through to successful resolution.
- Test and validate system integrations and API functionality.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and key stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality assurance practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven commercial experience in manual software testing.
- Hands-on experience testing APIs and system integrations.
- Strong ability to create clear, structured, and comprehensive test documentation.
- Experience managing defects and undertaking effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
Desirable Skills
- Experience testing Salesforce platforms and applications.
