Our client is looking for a detail-focused Test Analyst / QA Tester to support the delivery of high-quality systems within a pensions or financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have experience testing pension administration platforms, calculation engines, benefit calculations, or wider financial products where accuracy, data integrity, and regulatory compliance are critical.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, execute, and maintain test cases, scripts, and scenarios across functional, regression, integration, and UAT phases.
  • Test pension calculations, member data, benefit statements, workflows, interfaces, and system changes.
  • Review requirements and technical documentation to identify risks, gaps, and test coverage needs.
  • Log, track, and retest defects, working closely with business analysts, developers, and project stakeholders.
  • Support test reporting, progress updates, and go-live readiness activity.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Test Analyst, QA Tester, Software Tester, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle and defect management processes.
  • Experience in pensions systems, pension calculations, DB/DC schemes, or benefit administration would be highly desirable.
  • Alternatively, experience testing financial services products, regulated platforms, payments, investments, banking, or insurance systems will be considered.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Quality Centre, SQL, Postman, or test automation frameworks would be advantageous.
