We are seeking two highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineers to support a major digital transformation initiative within a large-scale central government environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a continuous improvement programme focused on enhancing speed, efficiency, and quality across multiple delivery units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and embed consistent DevOps practices, tooling, and methodologies across product delivery teams.
- Drive improvements in digital service delivery through automation, standardisation, and best practices.
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, presenting technical findings and influencing strategic direction.
- Represent DevOps in cross-functional discussions, winning hearts and minds to foster adoption and alignment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in large enterprise environments, ideally within Central Government.
- Strong background in Java and AWS.
- Broad experience with DevOps tools and technologies.
- Hands-on technical capability combined with strategic influencing skills.
- Comfortable working to defined milestones and deliverables in an outcome-focused contract.
