We are seeking a hands-on Principal Technologist to support a major UK Government programme, focused on legacy IT remediation and modernisation. This is a senior technical role where you'll be actively designing, prototyping, and delivering solutions - not just defining strategy. You'll work closely with engineering teams to rapidly test ideas, refine approaches, and implement practical improvements across complex systems.
