Our client is looking for an experienced Data Architect (SC Cleared) to deliver enterprise level data architecture across a modern data landscape. This role suits someone who is confident in data modelling, and comfortable engaging with technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Strong background in enterprise data architecture, data domain modelling, and information architecture.
- Proficient in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling techniques.
- Experience defining canonical models, domain models, and analytical models.
- Good understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, and lineage.
- Ability to develop and communicate data strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Knowledge of data ownership, stewardship, and operating models.
- Designing architectures that meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.
Key Experience:
- Proven experience in a Data Architect role.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Azure.
- Active SC Clearance.
- Experience gathering and translating stakeholder requirements into architectural designs.
- Understanding of how data models translate into physical cloud implementations.
- Ability to build data strategy and modelling transition roadmaps.
- Experience creating architecture principles, standards, and models.
- Able to explain complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong documentation and design governance skills.
