Quality Engineer
Permanent UK-Based - West Midlands (Hybrid working)

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within modern agile teams, influence quality practices end-to-end, and play a key role in delivering secure, high-quality solutions across a variety of technology stacks. What you’ll be doing
- Work closely with cross-functional agile teams (typically 4–8 engineers), contributing across the full testing lifecycle.
- Perform detailed test analysis and design for complex, integrated systems, often in regulated environments.
- Apply modern quality practices such as TDD, BDD and risk-based testing.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left quality approaches.
- Provide assurance and testing across all levels, including:
- Unit, Component and Component Integration Testing (CIT)
- System, Integration and End-to-End (E2E) testing
- Non-Functional Testing (NFR)
- Support UAT and BAT where required
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience as a Quality Engineer or Test Automation professional, ideally within agile and enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong understanding of agile, iterative delivery.
- Confidence working to defined policies, standards and quality frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, coaching mindset.
- Testing & Automation: Non-Functional Testing: DevOps & Platforms: Git / GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure and/or AWS.
- Strong track record of delivering high-quality testing outcomes.
- Detail-focused, quality-driven and proactive.
- Energy, enthusiasm and a “can-do” attitude.
- Flexibility to travel to customer sites when required.
