We are supporting a major public sector digital transformation programme and are seeking an experienced
Data Analyst to join a high-profile government initiative focused on delivering improved citizen services through data-driven decision making.
Working within a modern AWS-based technology environment, you will play a key role in analysing complex datasets, generating meaningful insights, and supporting programme teams with data-led recommendations.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst within large-scale digital transformation programmes.
- Strong public sector experience, ideally within central government environments.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience analysing large and complex datasets.
- Strong experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar tools.
- Excellent data analysis, validation and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working within AWS-based technology environments.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and reporting best practices.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience delivering within central government organisations.
- Experience supporting health, benefits or citizen-facing services.
- Knowledge of AWS analytics and reporting services.
- Exposure to Java-based application environments and associated data structures.
