In this role, you’ll work closely with Account Managers and the Post-Sales team to shape, influence, and challenge customers' cyber security strategies. You will take the lead in client engagements, technical solution design, and delivery of end-to-end security solutions. This position plays a key role in the continued growth of our Security division, supporting organisations in improving their security posture to defend against evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity, staying current with emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client objectives and design tailored security solutions.
- Lead strategic whiteboarding sessions and help develop security strategies that protect organisations’ infrastructure and data.
- Support during cyber incidents and contribute to incident response planning and execution.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation to support customer security improvement plans.
- Deliver training and enablement sessions for internal teams, partners, and customers.
- Participate in pre-sales activities with Account Managers, helping to overcome technical challenges and build strong customer relationships.
- Maintain relevant vendor certifications, with a focus on cybersecurity solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with other technical teams such as Cloud and Networking to ensure cohesive security solutions.
- Provide continuous feedback to improve internal processes and the overall security offering.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years in a Pre-Sales or similar role within an MSP or Reseller environment.
- Experience in or alongside incident response teams is desirable.
- Solid understanding of SOC processes, incident response stages, and threat detection tools.
- Familiarity with global security frameworks such as ISO27002, NIST CSF, CIS, and NCSE CAF.
- Knowledge of or experience with SSE, SASE, SIEM, MDR/EDR solutions.
- Strong communication, organisational, and documentation skills.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a proactive, solution-driven approach.
- Security-related certifications (preferred but not essential).
