A respected pensions consultancy is launching a strategic transformation programme to build a new data and testing layer supporting its expanding client base.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and reconcile large pension data sets using SQL scripting.
  • Develop and maintain reports using SSRS.
  • Investigate and resolve data issues, providing insights and recommendations to actuarial teams.
  • Support testing and verification of pension calculations and scheme data.
  • Map and validate data and benefit codes for new client installations.
  • Work with Excel-based data samples to triage and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across pensions administration, actuarial, and systems teams.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Strong technical skills in SQL (data scripting, querying, reconciliation).
  • Experience with SSRS (report writing) is highly desirable.
  • Background in pensions (administration, DC or DB schemes) is essential.
  • Alternatively, experience in a highly regulated environment with complex data challenges.
  • Exposure to data testing, business analysis, or systems implementation projects.
